Activity Information

Archery: The archery range is fully accessible. There will be adapted bows to support mobility difficulties. Long sleeves recommended.

Zip Wire: Fully accessible. For children unable to climb, they can experience the feeling of height, by being hoisted to varying heights on the climbing wall. Closed toe shoes must be worn. Comfortable clothing. (The participating carer will only need to supervise/support for this activity)

Canoeing and Pedlos: Fully accessible. They are able to hoist individuals into the canoes. Old clothes and closed toe shoes must be worn. All safety equipment will be provided. (The participating carer will need to be in the canoe for this activity)

Inside Area:

We will have access to an indoor room and toilets all day. We will use this room as a base, to store what you need, and to ‘chill’ during free time.

Changing facilities:

A rise and fall bed, and mobile hoist will be available. They also have accessible toilets/changing areas.

Extras:

• In addition to our booked activities, if you fancy cycling too, you can bring your own bikes and explore their bike tracks. You can also hire bikes on the day. They have inclusive bikes to choose from too).

• Shop: There is an small onsite shop (open 8:30-5pm)

• Free to use- Bouldering wall, Adventure Playground, Woodlands and Fields

• You can arrange to camp at Avon Tyrrell
