When?
We are hosting sailing events at Southampton Water Activities Centre on the following dates:
Sunday 26th May - 1-3pm
Saturday 15th June - 1-3pm
Sunday 15th Sept - 1-3pm
These events are accessible to wheelchair users via hoist on the pontoon.
£1.50 per person - Our sailing events are now £1.50 per person, for 2 hours of sailing. With the rising costs of running events, every £1.50 makes a big difference; ensuring we can continue running these exclusive events across the country. This is a non-refundable payment.
How to book?
Choose the event and the number of people wanting to sail.
You’ll then be asked to fill in a few details about your group.
Once paid, you will receive a confirmation email (Please keep an eye on your junk email box)

Please note: Children aged 5-7yrs will need to have a parent/carer in the boat with them. Children 7yrs+ will not need a parent/carer with them, unless you feel they’ll need it. There will be an instructor in each boat

Sessions are delivered by a brilliant team of volunteers with a wealth of experience. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to go sailing regardless of ability.
SWAC has accessible changing facilities, self righting access 303 sailing dinghies, Sonar Keelboats and a pontoon hoist to allow those of all abilities to make the most of the water that Southampton has to offer!
Join us in learning the ropes with our fun-filled lessons of basic sailing. Suitable to individuals aged 5 and above.
No experience needed – we’ll start at the very beginning and ensure you enjoy your day!
All children will need to be supervised, we cannot take responsibility for your child on the day.
